The TCA group, (comprising Phoenix Robotics, Steelmen group, Comlift & Hyind ), has expertise in the manufacture of cranes, large static steel structures and heavy machinery for the defence sectors as well as civil sectors. From steel procurement to extensive 3D modelling, simulations, stringent documentation, to expert fabrication with internationally qualified welders and engineers, we ensure the compliance requirement of various government departments and defence standards in the UK, US, EU, India, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. 

 

We enable steel fabrication demanding accurate bespoke technical requirements. We cater to OEM & first tier contractors to government civil and defence sectors. We design and supply large offshore cranes, marine cranes, and davits for the navy and commercial ships. We cater to all classification requirements, ABS, Lloyd’s, DNV, IRS/BV, etc.

 

Steel procurement expertise rising out of being established for 22 years mean that we procure any technical grade steel from any of the worldwide sources with time and cost efficiency. We have expertise in procurement of other metals such as copper, stainless steel, aluminium, etc., in various technical grades. We understand the specific demands each project requires. This helps us meet stringent defence sector requirements.

 

UK defence sector is demanding in terms of the provision of high level of ITP and compliance in manufacture. Compliance to relevant EN/ISO standards becomes the basis for projects. We manufacture in an ISO 9001 facility to standards that meet and exceed the strongest AECOM requirements. We have offices in Wells, UK, and New Delhi, India. With 20,000 Sq.mtr. of land and 35,000 Sq.ft.of covered factory in Southern India, we are well poised to handle significantly large steel structural fabrications with sufficient privacy. Our ISO9001 certified factory is specified for precision assembly as well as large assembly of heavy and oversized components. Our packing and shipping experience can securely deliver small or very large structures from our factory to the required destination giving our work the finishing touch. We understand that your priority is your final client. 

 

We provide: 1) Design help: Fine tuning calculations, 3D modelling, simulations, understanding non-standard requirements, assigning a dedicated team of engineers to your project, etc. 2) Stringent ITP: We keep accurate MRBs, whether it is additional heat treatments or meticulous testing and report keeping. 3) Lead time on Steel: One of the biggest factors in the ability to supply to the Defence Sector is the ability to coordinate with steel mills to produce engineering steels that meet stringent, often extremely specific EN/ISO standards. We ring-fence stock to ensure the availability of key materials and are continuously tracking consignments and mills with full traceability. We have our own extensive laboratory support for material testing. 4) Manufacture: Be it from 3D model and CAD to CNC, or from large custom cuts and bending to precision welds with strict adherence to WPQR, we have the expertise and experience of 22 years. Extensive resource of internationally qualified and certified welders and engineers enables accurate handling of project requirements.         5) Cost: Even the most well-funded Defence procurement will often be on a predetermined budget and our dedication to respect project costs are one of our biggest strengths.                 6) Efficiency & Environment: We are highly aware of minimising waste, constant improvement of tooling, adoption of new manufacturing technologies, energy efficiency, effective utilisation of space in manufacture, as well as annual meetings to analyse ways to improve efficiency and environmental compliance.  7) Paperwork and Compliance: This is by far one of the most stringent requirements, with large projects. This is of special significance for Defence projects that requires AECOM compliance and more. We offer our clients complete documentation. All our supply chain adheres to this documentation regimen. Full traceability of raw materials and source components is always maintained. All ITP documents and test reports include cross verified lab reports, WQRP. We deposit a comprehensive MRB on supply. Even years after the project has ended, post-delivery support is made much easier with our stringent record keeping standards. Additionally, for Indian Defence Department, we also provide technical assistance and personnel for installation and maintenance of various equipment.

 

We have integrated R & D in to our core philosophy. We are currently developing low cost landmine-sweeping technology that will help detect and clear mines remotely.
